Insiders Asia is very excited to host a non-profit tour to Vietnam in summer 2012 to a group of 16 high school students and teachers from Long Beach, California.

For 11 days, the group will be touring and visiting the must-see sites throughout Vietnam. In Hoian, students alternate their time between teaching English at a local orphanage and participating in daily activities with the locals in the neighboring villages.

Travel can change the way that students think about education. Seeing sites first-hand gives students a deeper understanding of why education matters. Sustainable traveling provides added-meaning to their journey, for they forge connection with the culture they visit, moving beyond “tourist” to “global citizen.”
